The SLX M677 crankset is at home on any All Mountain bike, its tough and aggressive characteristics enable it to endure the terrain associated with All Mountain riding. The Dyna-Sys designed chainrings provide optimal shifting across the cassette even when at the extremes of 'cross-chaining'. It is ideally suited for use with a Shimano HG-X chain that will give smooth and precise gearshifts, even when under load.
