Ratchet Freewheel system | The special feature of the patented freewheel system is that all the teeth of the two pulleys always mesh simultaneously. In contrast to pawl freewheel hubs, where the meshing surface is comparatively small, the loads are distributed evenly over a large contact surface due to the inclusion of the entire end faces. The result is a significantly lower point load and therefore much greater reliability.

Pro Lock Technology | The DT Pro Lock spoke nipples prevent the spoke-nipple connection from loosening on its own. A patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, which enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and then hardens completely. Repeated re-centering is possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
