A wind tunnel manipulated design and refined construction materials make the DT Swiss ARC 1400 DICUT 62mm Disc Brake Rear Wheel a fine choice for charging at speed over flat or undulating roads in all weather conditions.

The light but laterally rigid, 48mm deep, full carbon rim scythes through the air and is stable in crosswinds thanks to its sophisticated profile that has been realised via technical input from aerodynamic experts SWISS SIDE. This rim also possesses a broad, 17mm internal width that mates perfectly with tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres, helping them realise lower rolling resistance and heightened levels of comfort.

A DT Swiss 240 hub is the build’s fulcrum and this has a rigid and robust alloy shell that improves braking power and control by donating a solid foundation for disc rotor mounting. The freehub body has an EXP ratchet system to grant near-instant engagement when pedalling commences while heightened power transfer is given by the Aero Comp spokes and their two-cross lacing pattern.

For the first time the rim brake ARC's now incorporate DT's Ratchet EXP technology, with fewer moving parts, lower weight, improved reliability and lower bearing drag, the 240 EXP hubs offer the reliability and ease of servicing you've come to expect from DT in a super light racing hub that sets the standard.
